On Tuesday, October 15, the organization held their annual benefit ball at Russo\u2019s on the Bay where they presented checks to many worthy pediatric causes. Jamaica Hospital and Flushing Hospital were both recipients of Angels&#8217; generosity.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/angels-on-the-bay-Jamaica.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1638\" src=\"http:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/angels-on-the-bay-Jamaica-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"angels on the bay Jamaica\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/angels-on-the-bay-Jamaica-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/angels-on-the-bay-Jamaica-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/angels-on-the-bay-Jamaica.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Flushing Hospital received over $28,000 this year . The hospital has received over $160,000 over the last five years. This year\u2019s contribution will be used to purchase special cribs used to treat infants in the hospital\u2019s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Over $17,000 was given to Jamaica Hospital this year to purchase equipment for the hospital\u2019s Pediatric Emergency Department.
