The hospital demonstrated its appreciation for each nurse\u2019s commitment to excellence by hosting a Certified Nurses Day celebration in the auditorium of the Old Trump Pavilion.<\/p>\n<p>The auditorium was filled with nurses who chatted excitedly about their journeys in achieving their certifications.\u00a0 The process to becoming a certified nurse requires \u00a0additional and rigorous career training, but proves to be very rewarding as both patients and nurses benefit from the hard work.<\/p>\n<p>Executive Vice President and COO William Lynch kicked off the celebration by delivering a humorous but very heartfelt speech. He stated, \u201cWithout our nurses, nothing is possible,\u201d he continued, \u201cWe are extremely grateful for the level of care and dedication that our nurses demonstrate.\u201d Mr. Lynch was followed by Kathleen Scher; Vice President of Nursing, who also expressed appreciation and shared her agenda to implement new programs to support the nursing staff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nurses-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1941\" src=\"http:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nurses-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"nurses 2\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nurses-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nurses-2-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nurses-2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The evening ended on a fun note, as the nurses enjoyed a spread of delicious food and congratulated each other on receiving their respective certifications.
