They are often at the frontline of getting patients the support and services that they need to live better lives. The National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics calls on its members to \u201cenhance human well-being and meet the basic needs of all people, with particular attention on the needs and empowerment of those who are vulnerable, oppressed, or living in poverty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate Social Work Month, the Social Work Department at Jamaica Hospital held their annual bake sale to help fund some of their initiatives on Wednesday, March 28th.
