{"id":4468,"date":"2019-06-06T17:46:37","date_gmt":"2019-06-06T17:46:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/?p=4468"},"modified":"2021-11-11T19:22:00","modified_gmt":"2021-11-11T19:22:00","slug":"2019-medisys-golf-classic-a-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/2019-medisys-golf-classic-a-success\/","title":{"rendered":"The 2019 MediSys Golf Classic A Success"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb_share_1\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 10px;\"><a name=\"fb_share\" type=\"box_count\" share_url=\"https:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/2019-medisys-golf-classic-a-success\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sharer.php\">Share<\/a><\/div><div><script src=\"http:\/\/static.ak.fbcdn.net\/connect.php\/js\/FB.Share\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/div><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-4470\" src=\"http:\/\/medisyshealth.org\/newsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/golf-2019-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"244\" height=\"165\" \/>Beautiful sunny skies, warm weather and the smell of freshly cut grass greeted guests as they arrived at the 2019 MediSys Golf Classic.\u00a0 All signs pointing to the perfect day that lay ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Friends and supporters of Jamaica and Flushing Hospital Medical Center gathered on the morning of May\u00a021st at the Old Westbury Country Club to enjoy a full day of activities. \u00a0Participants played hours of golf or tennis, while others took advantage of the luxurious amenities provided by the club\u2019s full-service spa.<\/p>\n<p>After hours of play and relaxation, guests transformed into dinner attire and convened in the main dining area for the cocktail hour and dinner. \u00a0Diners were served an array of delectable dishes and desserts.<\/p>\n<p>During dinner, Bruce Flanz, President and CEO of the MediSys Health Network warmly welcomed everyone and thanked them for supporting the network. \u00a0He also introduced the event\u2019s honorary chairman; Dr. Cono Grasso, who announced the highlights and wins of the golfers and tennis players.<\/p>\n<p>The winners\u2019 streak for the evening did not end there; raffle prizes were later presented to lucky guests. This year\u2019s prizes included a trip to the Berkshires, sports tickets, Amazon Alexa electronics and the grand prize of $2,000 in gift cards to be used for a travel adventure.<\/p>\n<p>Overall the 2019, MediSys Golf Classic was a great success.
