The Good Catch award program recognizes MediSys Health Network employees who go above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients.
Good Catch awardees receive recognition and a certificate of excellence based on their actions in preventing accidents from occurring. These actions may include keeping our facilities safe, correcting a medication order, preventing a patient from falling or reporting a significant change in a patient’s status.

Additionally, our hospital is the top-ranked hospital in Queens County for surgical care and has also received recognition for being among the top 5% in the nation for this area of expertise.






Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is proud to announce that it is one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2023, according to new research released by Healthgrades, the leading marketplace connecting doctors and patients. This achievement puts Jamaica Hospital in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance across the most common conditions and procedures. This is the fourth consecutive year Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is among America’s Best.

The new Pediatric Ophthalmology Center at Jamaica Hospital is officially open. Construction of the state-of-the-art facility and the purchase of equipment was made possible thanks to a generous donation of $1 million from Maspeth Federal Savings.
